ANNETTE GATLIN

As an Apostle, Evangelist, Ordained Elder, Master Cosmetologist, and Mother-Apostle Annette Gatlin balances family life and the ministry with grace, wisdom, and inspiration. Known for her exuberant style of preaching and praise, she has traveled extensively and has been dedicated to evangelism for more than 28 years as a sought-after speaker at conferences and churches.
A woman after God's heart, called into the anointing of John the Baptist, a voice of one crying in the wilderness, this anointed woman has been commanded and commissioned by God to call souls back unto Him. She comes as Paul said in 1 Corinthians 2:4, "not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of Power of God:" She brings revelation of the Word with power and fire as she seeks clarity and wisdom daily in the presence of God to fulfill His plan for salvation for His people.
Apostle knows she is a blessed woman, and she is eager to share her life's experiences with everyone she comes in contact with. Her generous and compassionate personality along with her beaming smile will disarm the coldest stranger. Strength and Honor is her clothing, she opens her mouth with wisdom, and in her tongue is the law of kindness.
Her spiritual parents are Bishop Walter L. Branch and Evangelist Mary Branch, founders of Witness for Jesus Ministries, located in Memphis, Tennessee. Here she served faithfully on the pastoral committee for 10 years starting in 1994-2004. Apostle Gatlin also took to the streets in South Memphis passing out tracts and proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ. She has served as an Elder at DRIM in Arkansas and Tennessee, under the leadership of Chief Apostle D. DeWayne Rudd Sr. for 4 years in, alongside her husband, Bishop Charles Edward Gatlin, who served as 3rd Presiding Bishop. In the beginning of 2005, she was blessed to share 8 years with her soul mate, the late Bishop Charles Edward Gatlin. Together they founded Destined for Greatness International Ministry in October of 2008. She also served as a Pastoral Assistant at Word of Faith International Outreach, under the Leadership of Senior Pastor Bishop Melvin T. Taylor and Pastor Carol V. Taylor, Founders. It is under this leadership that she was also able to complete ministerial school with Global United Ministries of Jesus Christ located in the Maryland headquarters. She was also a devoted intercessor online for 18 months to a prayer line, Monday - Friday aired at 9:11 am. The Prayer line is hosted and founded by Bishop Robert L. Nichols Jr. who is the founder and Pastor of River of Life Church located in Desoto TX. Apostle Gatlin's ministry has Apostolic covering and fellowships at Christian Life Center: Pastor Sean & Monique Libby.
Being an expert in other categories brought her great fulfillment from being a hairstylist of 44 years, a former make-up artist and beauty consultant for Soar Magazine, her passion to beautify and uplift others remains evident. After gaining experience, she then went on to teach at different Cosmetology schools for about 5 years. In addition, teaching in child care and sat on the board of education in Shelby county from 1981-89. She expanded her cultural insights on her God-driven journey, by completing her BA in Communication/ Culture to further her work of ministry. Apostle attained her BA at the University of Phoenix, an Associate Degree in Biblical Studies from Covenant Theological Seminary, and an Associates Degree in Speech and Theater at Austin Peay State University.
Apostle has many accomplishments throughout the community including donations made by her ministry Destined for Greatness to the shelters of Darkness to Light in Tennessee and Hope Shelter in Maryland. She has also nurtured and ministered to women of "Hanna's Closet" a haven for women and teen girls struggling to seek spiritual guidance through one-on-one sessions. Sessions topics that included but not limited to, substance abuse, teen pregnancy, suicidal behaviors, and domestic abuse. Another place where she would minister at were nursing homes and hospital wards.
Apostle Gatlin appeared as a guest on The Word Network Gospel TV in March 2023. Along side host Prophetess Kendria Moore. She collaborated and openly shared her personal testimony. Apostle Gatlin was mentored by Prophetess Moore 2015-2016.
Currently she speaks at local and virtual conferences, and counsels' young women under her ministry Wings of Beauty INC' Outreach. Apostle Gatlin donated and assisted in the start of Women's Bible school in Lahore, Pakistan. Overseen by Minister Michal Ashfaq Mashih from 2020-2022. She currently sounds the alarm of "The Clarion Call" which calls souls back to Christ on social media. Apostle also administers "The Miracles of God" scholarship for academically-driven high school teens in preparation for college. In 2020, she became a self-published author of two books, "Broken to be Repaired: A Guide for Healing your Mind, Body, and Soul" and "Broken to be Repaired : Workbook and Journal".
Among her accolades, Apostle Gatlin feels that her most rewarding accomplishments are the significant roles she plays in her family. She is a loving Matriarch of four beautiful children and of 6 grandchildren, she is well reverenced by her family.
